Berry Clover Cocktail
Our berry basil alternative to a foamy classic
You need
- 1.5 ounces vodka
- 1 ounce strawberry syrup
- 6 ounces { Basil Berry }
- 3/4 ounces lemon juice
- 1 egg white*
- Ice
- Angostura bitters (optional)
*use aquafaba (from chickpeas) to keep it vegan!
Instructions
Make strawberry syrup by simmering 1 cup sugar, 1 cup water, and 1 cup strawberries over low heat for 5-7 minutes. In a cocktail tin, combine vodka, lemon, strawberry syrup and your egg white (or aquafaba)! Shake with no ice for 15 seconds to froth up the egg white. Add a handful of ice and shake for another 15 seconds. Strain into your fancy glass of choice and top off with Basil Berry. For an aesthetic touch, add a few drops of Angostura bitters to the foam and run a toothpick through for a heart shaped design.
